What on earth is a prow, I hear you say? Well it is my newly conjured up terminology for a "pram throw", aka prow! By the way, you read that here first.
This basket-weave prow, nee pram throw, is made from Bella, pure lightly twisted Brit wool. This bambino's prow is about 73L x 73W cm.
Again it's my first attempt at the basket-weave knitting pattern, the detailing is not as perfect as I want it to be...but the one gets the jist, one hopes! As I am writing this, I am not able to publish it in real-time as I am presenting it to my friend this coming Wednesday. She is a mum-to-be and I missed her baby shower (I was climbing Table Mountain in Abergavenny, Wales then).
So do watch this space for the real deal when the stork delivers the bambino in November! As they say in Singapore - AKAN DATANG...
